Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

Archie Williams was the 3-1 winner over Pinole Valley when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Archie Williams fell 2-0 to Pinole Valley on Saturday. The Peregrine Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Clark paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up two kills. Clark got some help from Max Brasler and his two assists. Nash Freeman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Archie Williams' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pinole Valley, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Archie Williams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Alhambra on the 22nd. As for Pinole Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Analy on the 22nd.
