If Pope was feeling good fresh off their 27-3 takedown of Lassiter two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pope Greyhounds came up short against the Woodstock Wolverines on Friday, falling 41-17. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Stuetzer, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Alterman handled things on the ground, rushing for 88 yards.
