Softball Recap: C. Milton Wright Mustangs vs. North East Indians

After flying high against Aberdeen on Tuesday, C. Milton Wright came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 6-2 to the North East Indians on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Izzie Youngworth was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Youngworth wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kamryn Alford, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

C. Milton Wright's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for North East, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
