Basketball Recap: L'Anse Creuse North Comes Up Short

L'Anse Creuse North lost against Romeo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders fell 65-57 to the Romeo Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crusaders came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 324th).

L'Anse Creuse North has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Romeo, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

While L'Anse Creuse North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:45 p.m. on Friday.
