Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Trinity lost 14-1 to Burns. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Trinity has suffered since March 18th.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Burns, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Randleman on the 22nd. As for Burns, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Shelby on the 22nd.
