Baseball Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marmaton Valley Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 on Thursday.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Marmaton Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasanton will host Drexel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marmaton Valley, they will welcome Northeast on Monday.
