Soccer Recap: South Elgin vs. Round Lake
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Elgin had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Round Lake Panthers. The Storm wouldn't have won without Alan Munoz, who scored the game-winner.
The win made it two in a row for South Elgin and bumps their season record up to 7-11-1. As for Round Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10-1.
As of now, neither South Elgin nor Round Lake have any future games scheduled.
