Football Recap: Regis Jesuit Falls Short Against Ranked Pine Creek + How To Watch

Regis Jesuit faced Pine Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders fell 31-24 to the Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 28-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Regis Jesuit still got an impressive performance from Joe Pron, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Colt Jones was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and one TD.

Xavier Lukes had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 206 yards and a pair of scores for Pine Creek. Lukes' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 181 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Brady Walden, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries.

Regis Jesuit now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Pine Creek, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Regis Jesuit will challenge Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups. As for Pine Creek, they will face off against Fountain-Fort Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 834 yards in their previous games.
