Basketball Recap: Woodlan Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

If Bluffton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Woodlan, they should've done a better job of containing Trey Yoder. The Woodlan Warriors strolled past the Bluffton Tigers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 56-40 thanks in part to Yoder, who shot 4-for-5 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Woodlan and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Bluffton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Woodlan will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bluffton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
