Basketball Game Preview: Groveport-Madison Cruisers vs. Lincoln Lions

Groveport-Madison is 1-6 against Lincoln since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Groveport-Madison Cruisers will look to defend their home court against the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Groveport-Madison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.

Last Friday, Groveport-Madison beat Canal Winchester 70-61. The Cruisers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln took on Pickerington North on Friday. Lincoln took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pickerington North. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Groveport-Madison's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points over those games. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
