Western Albemarle had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the William Byrd Terriers get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering Western Albemarle have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Western Albemarle, bringing their record up to 13-4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for William Byrd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9-4.

Looking ahead, Western Albemarle will take on Lafayette at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Western Albemarle surely won't give up without a fight. William Byrd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
