The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 28-21 to Patrick Henry Academy. That's two games in a row now that St. John's Christian Academy has lost by exactly seven points.
Patrick Henry Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Forest Fairey out in front who picked up 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Fairey was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 66 yards. Hugh Fairey was another key player, having thrown for 267 yards and two touchdowns.
St. John's Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Patrick Henry Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
St. John's Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Patrick Henry Academy will head out on the road to face off against Dorchester Academy on Friday. Dorchester Academy will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
