Refugio got themselves on the board against Premont on Friday, but Premont never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Premont Cowboys 56-0 on the road. Considering the Bobcats have won four games by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Jordan King, who rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 128 rushing yards dating back to last season. Fabian Garcia also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.
The victory made it two in a row for Refugio and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Premont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Refugio will host Kaufer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Refugio knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Kaufer likes a good challenge. As for Premont, they will head out on the road to challenge Freer on Friday.
