It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Central can now relate to. They fell 8-5 to the San Benito Greyhounds on Saturday. The Hornets' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kyana Escobedo-Lipardo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Sybo Segura was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for San Benito, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither East Central nor San Benito have any future games scheduled.
