Basketball Game Preview: Huss Huskies vs. Ashbrook Greenwave

Huss is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Ashbrook is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Huss Huskies will welcome the Ashbrook Greenwave at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Huss wound up with the same score they had in their last game (62-53), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ashbrook). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat North Gaston 74-30. The Greenwave have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 28 points or more this season.

Huss' loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.6 points. As for Ashbrook, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Everything came up roses for Huss against Ashbrook in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 61-30 victory. Will Huss repeat their success, or does Ashbrook have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
