Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Thousand Oaks' Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thousand Oaks can now relate to. They came up short against the Dos Pueblos Chargers on Tuesday, falling 7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lancers have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Jameson Berigan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Thousand Oaks saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Sax, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
