Basketball Recap: Hagerman Comes Up Short

Hagerman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-21 loss at the hands of the Eunice Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-29 back in January.

Hagerman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Eunice, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerman will face off against Gateway Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eunice, they will be playing at home against Texico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
