Volleyball Recap: Nazareth Academy Comes Up Short

Nazareth Academy lost against Saint Viator back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roadrunners fell 2-0 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Saint Viator's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabriella Vitullo, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Vitullo has posted over her last ten contests. Another player making a difference was Olive Meyers, who had 14 assists and nine digs.

Nazareth Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Saint Viator, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

Nazareth Academy will take on Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Viator does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
