Volleyball Game Preview: St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays vs. Elton Indians

St. Edmund is a perfect 3-0 against Elton since October of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fighting Blue Jays will head out on the road to take on the Indians at 6:00 p.m. St. Edmund will be strutting in after a victory while Elton will be coming in after a loss.

St. Edmund barely beat Jennings the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fighting Blue Jays put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Fighting Blue Jays haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Elton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Opelousas Catholic, falling 3-0.

St. Edmund now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Elton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1.

St. Edmund took their win against Elton when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Blue Jays since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
