Football Game Preview: Raritan Rockets vs. Asbury Park Bishops

The Raritan Rockets will take on the Asbury Park Bishops at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Raritan has given up an average of 27.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Raritan lost 37-14 to Matawan Regional on Friday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, while Asbury Park put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Keyport/Hudson Regional. The Bishops blew past the Raiders, posting a 39-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bishops considering their six-point performance the game before.

Asbury Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Raritan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Raritan was able to grind out a solid win over Asbury Park when the teams last played back in October of 2021, winning 40-28. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bishops turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
