O'Bryant had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT Cardinals on Monday as they made off with a 10-0 win. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

William Thompson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Thompson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leugim Melo, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Edward Santana, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

O'Bryant will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brighton/Boston Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-6 victory against East Boston on the 2nd.
