Volleyball Recap: Oaks Christian Lions vs. Calabasas Coyotes

Oaks Christian was the 3-1 winner over Calabasas when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Oaks Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (106-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 16-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Cameron Judd paced Oaks Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Judd got some help from Chase Jenkins and his 30 assists. Judd and Jenkins didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Oaks Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Calabasas, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-18 record.
