Basketball Game Preview: Logan Grizzlies vs. Rowland Hall Winged Lions

The Logan Grizzlies will face off against the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Logan is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They blew past Providence Hall 52-18. The Grizzlies pushed the score to 50-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Rowland Hall earned a 37-30 win over Freedom Prep Academy on Thursday. The Winged Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Rowland Hall found their leader in sophomore Mina Bailey, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Lila Bates, who had seven points.

Logan won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, slipping by Rowland Hall 30-29. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Winged Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
