Softball Recap: Russell County Lakers vs. Rockcastle County Rockets
Russell County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rockcastle County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lakers fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 12-10 on Friday. The Lakers haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Brylie Hardwick put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.
