After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cooper City, Deerfield Beach was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Coral Springs Colts with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bucks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Deerfield Beach not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Coral Springs between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Deerfield Beach's offense was headlined by Yasmim Medeiros and Giovanna Campos, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Audrianna Calvet and her 24 assists. Medeiros was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Deerfield Beach's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Coral Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
