Wes-Del waltzed into their game  on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Muncie Central Bearcats as they made off with  a  17-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by  exactly 17  runs.
 Devyn Jaycox was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news, Wes-Del got a  massive  performance out of  Brooklynn Eden, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Eden a new career-high.  Kenzie Anderson was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
Wes-Del pushed their record up to 8-3 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Muncie Central,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wes-Del will venture away from home to  face off against Eastern Hancock  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 7.3  runs per game this season. As for Muncie Central, they will head out to  take on Union City  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
