Basketball Recap: Bryant Picks Up 13th Straight Win at Home

Bryant had won 12 straight home games dating back to last season and Rj Young did his part to make it 13 on Tuesday. The Bryant Hornets managed a 58-54 win over the Central Tigers thanks in part to Young, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Caleb Tucker was another key player, putting up five points along with six assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Bryant's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Central, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant has already played their next match (against Little Rock Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Central Tigers take on the Cabot Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
