Soccer Recap: Fluvanna County Takes a Loss

Fluvanna County lost against Albemarle back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Flying Flucos fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2.

Brady Crisp and Sean Southall scored both of Fluvanna County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Fluvanna County's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Albemarle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4-1.

Looking ahead, Fluvanna County will challenge Western Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Albemarle, they will face off against Goochland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Albemarle will be up against Goochland's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
