Volleyball Recap: Middletown North Takes a Loss

Middletown North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Christian Brothers Academy Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

Middletown North's loss dropped their record down to 0-12-1. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown North will square off against Toms River North at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will take on Colts Neck at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
