Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Comes Up Short

Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 82-3 loss at the hands of the Fairfax Stampede. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nataly Quintana was Metro Tech's leading scorer, having posted two points.

Fairfax got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mayega Enow out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. Enow is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jaya Harris was another key player, going 9 for 17 en route to 18 points and seven steals.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Fairfax, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Metro Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-47 win against Alhambra on the 4th. As for Fairfax, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-28 loss against McClintock on the 4th.
