Baseball Game Preview: La Jolla Country Day Torreys vs. Santa Fe Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, La Jolla Country Day will face off against Santa Fe Christian. The Torreys are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. La Jolla Country Day's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Santa Fe Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

La Jolla Country Day is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 9-4 win over Santa Fe Christian on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Torreys.

At the plate, Josh Rock was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Kaza Nishiba also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
