Football Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Rice Consolidated Raiders

The Tidehaven Tigers will face off against the Rice Consolidated Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tidehaven has seven straight wins, Rice Consolidated has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tidehaven's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-0 victory over Van Vleck. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Tidehaven got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jullian Stockton out in front who rushed for 116 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Kale Russell was another key passer, throwing for 211 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Rice Consolidated ended up a good deal behind Industrial on Friday and lost 33-18.

Rice Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Tidehaven, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Tidehaven strolled past Rice Consolidated in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 49-33. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
