Softball Recap: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Dr. Krop Lightning
Braddock can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past the Dr. Krop Lightning 17-2. The victory was just what Braddock needed coming off of a 15-5 defeat in their prior matchup.
Braddock got a massive performance out of Melanie Tapanes, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Tapanes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Cancio, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
The win got Braddock back to even at 5-5-1. As for Dr. Krop, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Braddock will square off against Palmer Trinity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dr. Krop does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
