Volleyball Recap: Mount Miguel Takes a Loss

Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Chula Vista Spartans.

Tran Le paced Mount Miguel's offense, picking up five kills. Le got some help from Zach Schmidt and his six assists. Jae Jae Caminos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mount Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chula Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Mount Miguel has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Tri-City Christian on the 1st. As for Chula Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Coastal Academy on the 1st.
