There's no place like home for Mt. Zion Prep Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 47-24 margin over the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders on Saturday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilly Deng out in front who posted seven points. Deng has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Alexis Riggs was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Riverdale Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-35 win against Rosedale Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Riverdale Baptist, they have also already played their next game, a 90-46 victory against Evergreen Christian on the 3rd.
