Basketball Game Preview: Bluffton Tigers vs. Eastbrook Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, Bluffton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Mississinewa. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 11-7 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Eastbrook entered their tilt with Southwood on Tuesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 49-39.

Eastbrook pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points over those games. As for Bluffton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Bluffton beat Eastbrook 44-36 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Bluffton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eastbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
