Football Recap: Pueblo West Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home + How To Watch

Pueblo West won the last time they faced Pueblo County and things went their way on Friday too. The Cyclones snuck past the Hornets with a 39-34 win. Given the Cyclones' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Hornets are ranked 94th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pueblo West's defensive line and their three sacks. Matthew Zeck was especially locked on to Pueblo County's QB and sacked him 2.5 times. Zeck is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made nine or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Ezekiel Arrieta got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pueblo West pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
