Recap: Midfield Patriots vs. Pelham Panthers
The Midfield Patriots lost against the Pelham Panthers back in January of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Midfield took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pelham. Midfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamiya Webb, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Webb is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jazmin Johnson, who scored ten points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Midfield has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Pelham, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Midfield and Susan Moore will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Susan Moore is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Pelham won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Foley at 10:30 a.m. on December 20th. Foley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
