Soccer Game Preview: Pecos vs. Big Spring

The Pecos Eagles will head out to face off against the Big Spring Steers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pecos will be strutting in after a victory while Big Spring will be coming in after a defeat.

Pecos took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Andrews 5-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Pecos needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Big Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Sweetwater. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Big Spring couldn't quite close it out.

The win got Pecos back to even at 1-1. As for Big Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Pecos' way against Big Spring when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as Pecos made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Steers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
