South Brunswick not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 3, 2024 (when they won 65-33). They claimed a resounding 62-30 win over the North Brunswick Scorpions. The Cougars have beaten the Scorpions the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Scorpions has come to flipping the script.

South Brunswick was led to victory by Meryn Deutsch and Adyson Bell. Deutsch shot 55% from the field en route to 26 points in addition to seven boards and six steals, while Bell almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Those six steals gave Deutsch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chelsy Jones, who posted ten points and eight boards.

The victory got South Brunswick back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Brunswick will challenge East Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Brunswick, they will square off against East Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
