Basketball Game Preview: Gustine Tigers vs. Avalon Eagles

The Gustine Tigers will square off against the Avalon Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gustine is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

While Gustine didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Ranger 69-19. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Avalon lost to Milford on the road by a 44-26 margin on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gustine, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
