Football Recap: Western Christian Extends Winning Streak to Two

Western Christian won against Workman last Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Fighting Lancers beat the Notre Dame Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 56-6. With the Fighting Lancers ahead 49-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Western Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 56.0 points this season. As for Notre Dame, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Western Christian will be playing at home against Santa Rosa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 6. As for Notre Dame, they will head out to face off against Temecula Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
