Onaway is still winless after their contest against Grayling on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vikings. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring match to date.

Onaway's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Grayling, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Onaway has already played their next contest, a 17-1 victory against Johannesburg-Lewiston on the 22nd. As for Grayling, they will host Boyne City at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
