Baseball Game Preview: Spring Hill Bears vs. Mineral Springs Hornets

Spring Hill is a perfect 7-0 against Mineral Springs since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spring Hill Bears will welcome the Mineral Springs Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Spring Hill will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Spring Hill proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Mountain Pine 8-7.

Meanwhile, Mineral Springs came up short against Bearden on Friday and fell 6-2. The Hornets have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Mineral Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Spring Hill, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Spring Hill took their victory against Mineral Springs when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 19-0. Will Spring Hill repeat their success, or does Mineral Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
