Elberta had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 43-33 to the Foley Lions. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Elberta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-10 loss against St. Michael Catholic on the 10th.
