Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Mae Valenta stepped things up a notch to give Garfield the 'W'. Valenta went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. The performance marked the most doubles she has had since back in March.

Valenta and Garfield will square off against Holy Names Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
