Soccer Recap: Hickory's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

There was early excitement for Hickory after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the East Lincoln Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Hickory's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3-2. As for East Lincoln, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2-3.

As of now, neither Hickory nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
