Basketball Recap: Culver Takes a Loss

Culver lost against Trinity Lutheran back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Culver Bulldogs took a hard 55-36 fall against the Trinity Lutheran Saints. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Culver's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Trinity Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Culver won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oakridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Culver is facing Oakridge at the right time seeing as Oakridge is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Trinity Lutheran, they will square off against Lost River at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lost River is on a four-game streak of home wins, Trinity Lutheran a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
