Baseball Recap: Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers vs. Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets

Waynesfield-Goshen extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
