Soccer Recap: Marietta Takes a Loss

Marietta lost against North Cobb back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 4-0 to the Warriors. Marietta's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Marietta's record is now 2-12. As for North Cobb, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 2-12 record.

Marietta will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sprayberry at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. North Cobb also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Allatoona at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th. Allatoona will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something North Cobb surely won't give up without a fight.
